The Opportunity
A highly regarded Calgary-based law firm is seeking an experienced solicitor to join its growing corporate, commercial, and real estate practice.
This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with an established practice who is looking for a collegial, entrepreneurial environment where relationships, client service, and long-term growth are valued. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing client portfolio
- Advise private businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, and developers
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and transactional documents
- Handle corporate transactions, reorganizations, acquisitions, and financings
- Manage commercial and real estate transactions from inception to completion
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of solicitor-side experience
- Strong background in corporate, commercial, and/or real estate law
- Portable book of business preferred
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships
- Strong business development skills and community presence
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
