Become a key player in the timber industry as a Mine Planning Consultant for Micromine in Vancouver, BC. This role emphasizes technical support and client relationship management in open-pit mining. Micromine, part of Weir’s Software Solutions, is seeking an experienced Mine Planning Consultant. You will deliver exceptional pre and post-sales support for Micromine Beyond and Spry. The role involves creating strategic demonstrations, providing user training, and supporting technical initiatives across the Americas. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support during pre-sales and trade shows
- Develop lasting relationships with customers
- Create and deliver solution-focused technical presentations
- Conduct training sessions for software users
- Offer ongoing client support via various channels
- Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering
- 7+ years in mine planning and scheduling systems
- Operational experience in onsite mining
- Client-facing experience in software or consulting
- Fluent in Spanish and English preferred
