Our client, a body shop specializing in auto body repair and mechanics located in Saint-Léonard and LaSalle, is looking for a Technical Advisor to support shop operations and ensure efficient coordination of bodywork.

Job Summary

As a Technical Advisor , you will be responsible for supporting the body and mechanical teams in carrying out their work, resolving technical issues, and contributing to improved productivity and quality.

You will also participate in work planning and coordination, schedule monitoring, and the training and mentoring of team members.

Main Responsibilities

Technical Support and Quality Control

• Resolve technical issues encountered during body and mechanical repairs.

• Provide technical advice to body and mechanical repair technicians.

• Recommend methods or measures to improve efficiency and improve performance.

  to improve the productivity and quality of repairs. Monitor the quality of work performed. Ensure compliance with work methods and standards. Coordination and Supervision Plan and coordinate the work of the bodywork and mechanical team. Supervise projects and the work of the technicians. Organize priorities according to deadlines. Training and Support

• Train new employees and support team members in their tasks.

• Contribute to maintaining a safe and Organized.

Desired Profile

We are looking for someone with solid practical experience in the field of automotive mechanics and bodywork, capable of acting as a technical expert for the team.

• Relevant experience in automotive bodywork.

• Experience as a technical advisor, technical consultant, team leader, mechanical supervisor, or experienced bodywork technician is an asset.

• Strong ability to solve technical problems.

• Ability to coordinate and supervise the work of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Experience with a team of dent repair technicians and/or Body repair technicians, an asset.

• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
