Senior Business Analyst AI Strategy

Lead AI strategy and discovery remotely across Canada or the United States, using business analysis and client facilitation skills.
Robots and Pencils seeks a Senior Business Analyst to own complex engagements from problem framing through actionable planning. You will lead cross-functional discovery, shape recommendations, and guide senior stakeholders through high-impact decisions. The work combines journey mapping, business cases, AI prototyping, and roadmap creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AI and digital strategy engagements from discovery through pilot planning
- Map journeys, workflows, and decision points for measurable business lift
- Build business cases, quantify value, and define success KPIs
- Facilitate executive briefings, ideation workshops, and redesign sprints
- Translate strategy across design, data, engineering, and change management
Requirements:
- Five-plus years in business analysis, consulting, or product strategy
- Understanding of LLMs, RAG, copilots, agents, and responsible AI
- Experience with stakeholder interviews, prioritization, and roadmap creation
- Strong executive communication and senior stakeholder alignment skills
- Hands-on prompt engineering, agent workflows, and AI prototyping experience
