Inside Sales Representative

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative who’s passionate about delivering a standout customer experience. You’ll take ownership of a range of customers and keep everything moving smoothly—from order receipt to delivery—by coordinating and supporting each step along the way. Your focus: stay proactive, build strong relationships, and consistently exceed expectations.

Driving Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and online channels
• Enter and manage orders accurately in ERP
• Provide product details, pricing, inventory, and order status updates
• Coordinate with shipping, sales, and warehouse to meet delivery timelines
• Process returns and warranties; resolve product issues quickly
• Work with e-commerce partners (e.g., Amazon, Wayfair) to resolve consumer issues
• Build and maintain relationships with retail and wholesale customers
• Support launches, promotions and special programs with customers
• Recommend and help implement customer service improvements
• Advocate for customers with solution-focused support
• Proactively identify growth opportunities through product recommendations, add-on sales, and replenishment planning
• Track activity, opportunities, and customer interactions in ERP and report on key sales metrics
• Partner with Outside Sales to execute territory/account plans, coordinate customer meetings, and ensure seamless handoffs

What You Bring

• University or College diploma in a relevant program of study
• 1–3 years in a customer service role - experience in retail or e-commerce is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other internal stakeholders
• Previous experience servicing key accounts with a commitment to customer satisfaction
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP and CRM system experience preferred
• Knowledge of lighting or home décor products is an asset
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while also being comfortable working autonomously
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
