Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic baking assistant to join our team. As a baking assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our bakers and decorators with the preparation and delivery of our freshly made products. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment, we would love to hear from you.
TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED ON SITE
Requirements
- Mature, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Available for afternoon shifts (1pm-5/6pm) and occasional early morning shifts
- Hard working
- Team player
- Can lift a minimum 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Able to work efficiently
- Friendly and engaging with good communication skills
- Early morning and weekend availability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines at all times
- Use various techniques to create unique designs and decorations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and food preparation techniques (Food Safety Certification required prior to start of employment)
- Reliable transportation is required - our location is not on a bus route
