What's the opportunity?

As a Lube Tech, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting mechanics in the day-to-day operations and cleanliness of the Garage. This role supports the efficient operation of the maintenance department.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime hours possible during peak periods.

The wage range for this position is $20.00-$23.50/hour, based on your skills and experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

· Assisting in keeping KOTT's fleet continuously operational by performing necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.

· Performing oil changes on vehicles and equipment.

· Changing and rotating tires, and other tire-related maintenance.

· Washing vehicles to maintain cleanliness and appearance.

· Shuttling vehicles between locations as required.

· Organizing and maintaining the parts room.

· Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the shop, adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.

· Assisting mechanics with other tasks as required.

· Scheduling may include overtime during peak periods.

What you need to succeed

· Ability to lift 50+ pounds, and sustain it throughout the day.

· Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.

· Basic computer skills to process completed work orders.

· Valid G Driver's license, with a clean driving record.

· No experience required; on the job training provided.

· Familiarity with engine repair & maintenance is an asset.

· Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required - KOTT will provide other PPE
