Back of House Corporate Training Specialist

Job Responsibility:

The Company Stacked Franchising Ltd. is a growing franchising company that represents Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House's across Canada. Currently with over 80 opened locations and aggressive growth over the next 12 months, we are looking for a Back of House Corporate Training Specialist that will direct our front of house operations.

Back of House Trainer Position We are looking for a trainer that can offer training to all our new store openings & also help with current opened locations. We pride ourselves on being different from our competitors with our food & menu as our competitive advantage. The successful candidate will need the ability to direct the following:

• Expo - Making sure that back of house is being trained on preparing dishes
• Communication with franchisees on the KDS system and any questions or concerns that come up
• Engage in continuous training to promptly learn all new menu items and company policies, to properly train the rest of the staff.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, food safety and handling requirements, shelf life, and knowledge on first in first out storage.
• Be a problem solver and a supportive team player. Tackle problems by using your multi-tasking and communication skills and make decisions for you and your team members.
• Prepare all documentation required for new store openings
• Making sure that everything is ready and set up before the opening launch date
• Use Excel to record monthly expense reports to Payroll
• Use Microsoft Teams for communication
• Use Planner for new store opening checklists and store set ups

The candidate will also need the ability to travel for work as they will be leading/managing the training teams & programs for new store openings within the chain. Through this, the candidate will be responsible for making sure that they are successful in following all corporate policies & procedures throughout the programs.

Position Success To be successful in the position, we require the below at a minimum

• 3 Years experience in a training or kitchen role
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment individually & as a team
• Ability to use Microsoft Office & the programs within it
• Ability to travel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
