Oncology Registered Nurse Princess Margaret

Support oncology patients at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as a Registered Nurse using critical decision making and compassionate care. Permanent full-time and part-time schedules are available.

This Registered Nurse serves malignant hematology and oncology inpatient and outpatient areas at UHN. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the nurse applies nursing science, reflective practice, and the UHN Professional Practice Model. The position requires strong assessment, communication, and patient teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent nursing care
• Apply professional standards, legislation, and UHN policies
• Participate in continuing education for patient population needs
• Evaluate nursing practice and improve patient care quality
• Use primary nursing care as the delivery model

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• De Souza or ONS Chemotherapy certification required
• Strong crisis intervention and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
