Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Salary: $17–$22/hour, based on experience and education
Parking: Free on-site parking
About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Reception & Accounting Assistant to support reception, administration, and accounting functions at the Catholic Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer calls, and respond to public inquiries.
- Manage subscriptions, renewals, office supplies, meetings, and catering.
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare bank deposits, tax receipts, journal entries, and month-end adjustments.
- Maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and balance sheet schedules.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Accounting or Finance diploma/degree is an asset.
- Sage 300 experience preferred.
- Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- French and knowledge of Catholic practices are assets.
