Quality Specialist II role at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Burlington facility supporting lab automation manufacturing. Responsible for product inspections, quality documentation, vendor monitoring, and driving continuous improvements across robotic solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection on finished products and segregate nonconforming items
- Record, document, and analyze all inspection results and non-conformance data
- Verify vendor-supplied components and monitor quality of manufactured products
- Initiate and participate in corrective actions and non-conformance resolutions
- Support process audits, vendor qualification, and SOP development
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 10+ years quality inspection experience in manufacturing
- Metrology lab, GD&T, and CMM experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- CMM and basic measurement equipment operation skills
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
Compensation: $62,100–$90,000 CAD annualized
