Landscape Maintenance

Job Responsibility:

The Sharp Design Landscape Group ltd. is a high end residential landscaping construction and garden maintenance company located in Parksville, British Columbia.

Our expectations for the position are:

-Self starter who works well within our team of professionals maintaining grounds and landscapes of private residences: Participates in preparing and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns, and transplanting shrubs and plants, using manual and power-operated equipment.

-Maintains lawns, using proper gardening implements and power-operated equipment.

-Plants new and repairs established lawns, using seed mixtures and fertilizers recommended for particular soil type and lawn location.

-Plants shrubs, trees, and flowers to proper horticulture specifications.

-Mows and trims lawns using power mower and trimmers.

-Practices proper pruning methods on trees and shrubs

-Weeding and cultivating of gardens, and blowing debris from hard surfaces

-Knowledge how to sprays trees and shrubs seasonally, and applies supplemental liquid and dry nutrients to lawn and trees.

-Must have valid drivers license.

-Must be able to drive truck and trailer.

Pay: $27.50-$32.50 per hour
