Technical Designer for Transportation Projects

NORR is seeking an experienced Technical Designer to enhance its Transportation Studio, focusing on aviation, transit, and multimodal hubs. Your expertise in architectural design will be critical as you develop detailed construction documents while working collaboratively with design teams. The role demands a strong understanding of design intent, building codes, and material technologies to deliver effective solutions on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop technical designs and edit architectural drawings
• Conduct site evaluations and perform site surveys
• Research materials, codes, and building systems
• Review project products, services, and shop drawings
• Coordinate with contractors and relevant authorities for compliance Requirements:
• 7-10 years of project work experience
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant software
• Familiarity with MEP and Structural systems
• Related post-secondary education required
