We’re looking for an innovative and passionate Store Manager (interim) for our store!

As a Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of your store and the development of your team, providing top-notch customer service, introducing hundreds of new customers to the wonderful world of loose-leaf tea, and making sure every customer leaves with a smile.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Ensuring that your team delivers the extraordinary DAVIDsTEA Experience and the highest quality customer service at all times.

• Leading by example by educating customers about the world of tea, as well as DAVIDsTEA’s blends, products, and accessories.

• Providing regular feedback and coaching to team members and fostering a constructive and positive team atmosphere.

• Meeting sales targets and ensuring profitability by controlling costs (labor, supplies, inventory, etc.).

• Oversee daily operations and effectively delegate tasks to meet daily and weekly deadlines.

• Adhere to food safety guidelines and internal policies for beverage preparation and workplace safety.

• Work closely with the District Manager to develop and implement store-specific strategies.

• Establish DAVIDsTEA as a community partner; build relationships with local businesses and participate in local events.
  

Some ideal qualities you possess:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a leadership role in sales, retail, or customer service

• Experienced store manager with extensive experience managing high-volume retail locations

• A friendly and dynamic personality

• Proven track record in systematically improving sales performance and team development

• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

• Proactive approach and ability to coach and teach others

• Sense of initiative with excellent communication skills

• Desire to grow within the company and take on new challenges

• Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing work environment

• Interest in tea and/or a desire to learn and become a tea expert

• Willingness to be transferred to another store or province on short notice for career advancement
