Job Summary

Data Centers are considered Critical Facilities. This means that we support hospitals laboratories and public safety centers. Simply put we cannot go this crucial role you will complete repairs corrective maintenance and routine installations of Critical Facility infrastructure.

Do you have a background in HVAC and or skilled Mechanical trades Journeymanlevel experience or a 4thyear apprenticeship is highly valued in this role. This could be your next career move.

Responsibilities

• Perform site inspections and supervise building and Data Center alarms

• Conduct preventative maintenance on-site infrastructure (e.g. primary infrastructure systems) or lead vendors

• Undertake repairs and corrective maintenance

• Apply extensive knowledge of critical infrastructure such as UPS generators BMS chillers and life safety systems

• Complete site logs and data gathering for basic permits such as MOPs and scripts

• Respond to all on-site incidents and act as needed

• Complete routine work requests and circuit installations

• Provide assistance during critical maintenance activities

• Collaborate effectively within the department and provide recommendations to peers on general maintenance activities

• Carry out basic infrastructure projects

• Support a 24/7 operation flexibility to work assigned shifts offschedule hours fill in for teammates and respond to emergencies

Qualifications

• Journeymanlevel experience or 4thyear apprentice in HVAC or Mechanical trades

• A natural curiosity and strong troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in a critical facility environment

• Strong systemlevel mechanical or electrical proficiency

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing stooping etc.) with or without accommodation

• 3 years of relevant experience

• High School Diploma and or any relevant diploma in the required field of HVAC.

• The employement is subject to obtain a level II Secret clearance from the federal government (PSPC).

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Canada - OT1 Gatineau : 80000 - 96000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position

determined by role level and pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Responsabilités

• Effectuer des inspections sur site et superviser les alarmes des bâtiments et des centres de données

• Réaliser la maintenance préventive des infrastructures sur site (par exemple les systèmes dinfrastructure primaire) ou superviser les fournisseurs

• Effectuer des réparations et de la maintenance corrective

• Appliquer une connaissance approfondie de linfrastructure critique telle que les UPS les générateurs le BMS les refroidisseurs et les systèmes de sécurité

• Compléter les journaux de site et la collecte de données pour les permis de base tels que les MOP et les scripts

• Répondre à tous les incidents sur site et agir selon les besoins

• Effectuer les demandes de travaux de routine et les installations de circuits

• Fournir une assistance lors des activités de maintenance critiques

• Collaborer efficacement au sein du département et fournir des recommandations aux collègues sur les activités de maintenance générale

• Réaliser des projets dinfrastructure de base

• Soutenir une opération 24/7 flexibilité pour travailler selon les quarts assignés en dehors des heures prévues remplacer des collègues et répondre aux urgences

Qualifications

• Expérience au niveau compagnon ou apprenti de 4e année dans les métiers de CVC ou mécanique

• Curiosité naturelle et solides compétences en résolution de problèmes

• Expérience de travail dans un environnement dinstallation critique

• Solide compétence mécanique ou électrique au niveau système

• Capacité à soulever jusquà 50 lbs et à effectuer des tâches physiques (grimper se pencher etc.) avec ou sans aménagement

• Plus de 3 ans dexpérience pertinente

• Diplôme détudes secondaires et ou tout autre diplome détude dans le domaine CVC.

La fourchette salariale visée pour ce poste dans le lieu suivant est :

Canada OT1 Gatineau : 80 000 $ à 96 000 $ CA par année

Nos fourchettes salariales reflètent le salaire cible minimal et maximal offert aux nouvelles recrues pour ce poste à temps plein en fonction du rôle du niveau et de lemplacement. La fourchette salariale indiquée est basée sur notre structure de rémunération en vigueur au moment de laffichage du poste et peut être mise à jour périodiquement selon les besoins de lentreprise.
