Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires a passion for the food industry and a commitment to upholding food safety standards.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating the POS system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen as needed.
- Provide assistance to customers, addressing their inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow time management practices to ensure timely service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with customers.
- Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
