Responsibilities

Maintain and grow a high-value portfolio of established pharmaceutical manufacturing accounts across Ontario and Western Canada. Identify, target, and convert prospective accounts by providing custom raw material solutions and technical product line capabilities. Partner closely with internal Product Managers, Regulatory Specialists, and technical lab resources to deliver consultative formulation support. Navigate long-term sales cycles (3 to 5 years) through consistent engagement with key decision-makers, bench chemists, and procurement executives. Meet or exceed annual territory budget targets, gross margin goals, and strategic growth campaigns.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or relevant technical science field required. Experience: 3 to 5+ years of successful commercial B2B sales experience, specifically within specialty chemical or pharmaceutical ingredient distribution. Technical Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of multi-line formulation ingredients and the Canadian life sciences supply chain. Skillset: Proven ability to manage long-cycle consultative sales, build multi-level client relationships, and work autonomously within a remote structure.

Summary
This is a permanent, full-time Account Manager position responsible for leading pharmaceutical client portfolios across Ontario and Western Canada. The ideal candidate possesses a technical science degree and 3–5+ years of chemical or ingredient distribution sales experience. The position offers a base salary between $95,000 and $115,000 annually, plus an uncapped commission structure, full health benefits, pension, and remote work setup.
