Software & Control Systems Engineer Role
Medatech Engineering Services Ltd.
MEDATech seeks an Intermediate Software and Control Systems Engineer in Collingwood, ON, focused on developing and integrating innovative control systems for heavy equipment. This role is perfect for experienced engineers ready to lead software development efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll manage customer projects, engaging in R&D while ensuring optimal system performance and rapid issue resolution in the field. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop control algorithms and user interface systems
- Ensure collaborative project management and timeline adherence
- Lead software integration with existing mechanical systems
- Write technical documentation and mentor new engineers
- Support service teams with quick issue resolutions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in control systems and software
- Proficient in C/C++, Python, and relevant design tools
- Strong skills in leadership and communication
- P.Eng. designation or in progress preferred
