What will your typical day look like?

As a Consultant in Data Governance – AI and Data, you will support clients in establishing and improving data governance practices that increase the value, quality, compliance, and responsible use of data, including for artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. Working with experienced team members, cross-functional teams, and client stakeholders, you will contribute to assessments, framework design, implementation activities, and the preparation of practical recommendations and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes for data, AI, and advanced analytics use cases.
Assist with assessments of client data landscapes and governance maturity, document findings, and help identify practical improvement opportunities.
Contribute to client initiatives involving data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Work with data architects, data engineers, business stakeholders, and other team members to document requirements and embed governance controls in data solutions.
Help implement data stewardship and data ownership programs, including the preparation of training, communications, and change-management materials.
Assist with the evaluation, configuration, testing, and adoption of data governance technologies and tools.
Build knowledge of emerging trends, standards, and regulatory developments in data governance, AI ethics, and responsible AI.
Prepare clear client presentations, reports, workshop materials, and other project deliverables with guidance from senior team members.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in data governance, data management, data analytics, technology consulting, or a related field.
Working knowledge of data governance principles, common frameworks, and industry practices.
Exposure to data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation, or to related data management platforms.
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and an interest in the governance, risk, and ethical considerations associated with AI.
General awareness of data privacy regulations, security considerations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience contributing to consulting engagements, client-facing work, or project delivery is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications in data governance, data management, or related disciplines (e.g., CDMP, DGSP).
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of Responsible AI frameworks and AI risk management.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
