🧹 Housekeeper Wanted — Maccan, Nova Scotia Hi! We’re a family who recently moved from Alberta to Maccan, Nova Scotia, in July, and we’re looking for a reliable, kind, and trustworthy housekeeper to help us maintain our home. Our home is approximately 3,700 square feet, with 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It’s a beautiful, large home that we absolutely love, but after moving in I quickly realized that keeping up with a house of this size is more than I can physically manage on my own. I have ongoing back, sciatica, and hip issues, so having some regular help would make a huge difference for me. We are looking for someone for biweekly cleanings and are offering competitive wages of $20–$25/hour, depending on experience and the arrangement. I will be home during the cleanings, as I homeschool our youngest child. Our home is a busy family home, and there will usually be others here as well. We have two very friendly large dogs and two cats, so someone who is comfortable around pets is important. My mother also lives with us and stays in her own den area, and my oldest son works from home in IT. The bedrooms would NOT need to be cleaned. We have four children who are expected to maintain their own rooms, and I will take care of my own bedroom and our youngest child’s room. The main areas we’d like help with include:

• Living rooms and common areas
• Vestibules and entryways
• Hallways
• Fireplace areas
• Dusting
• Sweeping
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dining room cleaning
• Kitchen cleaning and sanitizing
• Both bathrooms, including thorough cleaning and sanitizing ( one bathroom that also serves as part of our laundry area)
• General cleaning and upkeep of shared family spaces

We’re not looking for someone to organize our entire household or manage our family’s belongings. We’re primarily looking for someone who can help keep the shared areas of our home clean, sanitary, and comfortable. We are newer to the area and are hoping to find someone local who is dependable, respectful, trustworthy, and takes pride in their work. We love our home and want to find someone who will treat it with the same care. If you’re interested, we’d love to hear a little about yourself, your experience, your availability, and your hourly rate. 📍 Maccan, Nova Scotia 🧹 Biweekly cleaning 💰 $20–$25/hour 🏡 3,700 sq. ft. family home 🐾 Pet-friendly household 🛏️ No bedroom cleaning required Please visit to view full details and to apply.
