Inventory Control Officer

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for maintaining precise inventory records? We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Officer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

What you will accomplish with us:

• Manage inventory for assigned branches, overseeing daily cyclical accounts.
• Lead and supervise physical inventory procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and explain inventory discrepancies, maintaining concordance between computer data and manual counts.
• Complete verifications of various reports, including SO, WT, non-stock inventory, and direct inventory from branches and distribution centers.
• Perform data entry for inventory adjustments.
• Enforce internal control measures and company policies.

User Support:

• Respond promptly to inventory-related inquiries from branches on a daily basis.
• Provide comprehensive training to branch employees on inventory control measures.
• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve inventory-related issues.

What You Bring to Our Team:

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory control and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of internal control measures and company policies.
• Fluency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with suppliers and Master employees based in our Ontario, Western Canada and Maritimes offices and interactions in French with suppliers and employees in our local Montreal and Ottawa offices)
