Job Description

The Cash App Trust organization exists to build trust and expand access in Cash App’s Ecosystem. We are only successful as a business if our customers feel secure and trust us with their money, and so we take it as a duty to be worthy of that trust. The Team

The Mobile engineering team for Cash Trust Client will provide Cash App customers reliable, easy, and secure access to their accounts. You’ll build, own, and improve the experiences and platforms primarily around Access, and will flex into other areas of Trust as needed. Access owns login, signup, account recovery, account security, and overall accounts. More broadly, Trust owns identity verification, limits, eligibility safeguards, transfers and scam protection among other areas. These experiences and platforms are pivotal to Cash App customers as we strive towards economic empowerment.

You Will

• Build end-to-end features of the app: networking, persistence, business logic, and UI
• Craft durable, well-tested code with an unwavering commitment to product quality
• Re-architect legacy code and prep it to scale for the future of the product and the team
• Partner with Android and backend developers as well as design, product and data science on delivering remarkable solutions
• Have a meaningful impact on the future of the Cash product

Qualifications

You have:

• Experience leading projects (ex. build or improve customer experiences, product resiliency, or backend integrations)
• Experience creating readable, well-crafted, and maintainable code
• Experience voicing customer feedback into product solutions (engineering makes substantive contributions to product definition)
• A commitment to growing together (yourself, your teammates, your software)

Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $163,600 - USD $245,400
Zone B: USD $155,400 - USD $233,200
Zone C: USD $147,300 - USD $220,900
Zone D: USD $139,000 - USD $208,600
