Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items with precision, following recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support the serving team by ensuring timely delivery of orders and quality control
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs
- Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in a kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Familiarity with meal preparation processes and serving standards is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace in compliance with health regulations
