Position Overview: Avolta is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Student Intern to join our team as part of a co-op program. This internship is designed for students who are passionate about social media and digital marketing and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. As an intern, you will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies, create engaging content, and analyze performance metrics. Please note that this is a pro bono opportunity, ideal for students seeking to gain valuable experience and co-op credit while contributing to impactful work. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to enhance Avoltas online presence.
- Create and curate engaging content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for social media campaigns.
- Help monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with Avoltas mission and goals.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all tasks and interactions.
Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
- High level of responsibility, maturity, and a willingness to learn.
- Must be eligible to receive co-op credit through your academic institution.
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Interest in the technology, security, or automotive industries.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital advertising strategies.
