Seasonal Loader Operator

Job Responsibility:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be a results-driven, self-starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

It is a SEASONAL position from mid April to mid June.

Work location: Travellers Rest, PE

Wages: $19.00 to $23.00

• Safely operate the loader
• Maneuver motorized heavy equipment to move the product around the site.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
• Maintain warehouse and production area
• Work in production line using designated equipment as directed
• All other related duties as assigned

• Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25kgs).
• Availability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast paced team environment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment would be considered an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience working in manufacturing or farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset.
