Job Responsibility:
Summary
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in the Shopify Ecosystem, and always be looking for the next opportunity. We have a team that takes pride in not just doing the job, but looking at how we can do it better everyday.
This is not a theme-tweaking role. You'll be working with Shopify APIs, headless integrations, ERP workflows, custom apps, and data pipelines. If you know how to make Shopify do things it was never designed to dothis is the seat you want.
Responsibilities
- Help us find opportunities in managing our vendor data, and transforming it into loadable content in bulk.
- Design, develop, and implement web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Automate clunky internal workflows to help our team gain daily efficiencies (ex. Price Management, Loading Products, Inventory, etc.).
- Work on ensuring we continue to have best front-end experience in the industry paired with the best data.
- Performance & Scale: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in Shopify infrastructure; create reliable code under high load
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with front-end, design, and marketing teams to deliver features
- Data Integrity: Ensure clean and normalized data flow across platforms, especially during bulk operations
- Implement MVC architecture principles to ensure clean code organization and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and improve application reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during the development lifecycle.
Who you are
- Proven experience in Shopify+
- You are passionate about new technology and the opportunities they bring.
- Excel in working with large datasets (product files, load files etc.) and developing strategies to manipulate them.
- You love testing new tools and identifying opportunities within the business for them.
- Language Proficiency: Strong in JavaScript (Node.js), TypeScript, and Liquid.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
