Brookfield Renewable North America is seeking an HR Generalist to join our HR team in a broad, hands-on role with exposure across the employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build broad HR expertise while contributing to both day-to-day operations and key initiatives that support our employees and business.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide broad HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, leaves, departures, employee questions, employment letters, and other day-to-day HR activities; 
• Support HR compliance requirements, including maintaining accurate employee records, preparing required reports or documentation, and helping ensure HR processes are completed consistently and on time; 
• Support employee communications, including drafting and coordinating HR communications, preparing employee-facing materials, updating SharePoint content, and assisting with planned LinkedIn updates aligned with established guidelines; 
• Support HR systems, reporting and administration activities, including maintaining accurate employee and training data, preparing reports, administering LMS-related activities, and identifying opportunities to improve processes; 
• Contribute to the current Workday implementation by supporting related HR activities, data validation, process review, and other project needs as required; 
• Participate in HR programs and annual cycles, including performance management, compensation management, talent management, employee relations, labour relations, and related initiatives; 
• Assist with recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communications, offer support, and recruitment tracking; 
• Work collaboratively with HR colleagues and business stakeholders across multiple locations to support the needs of the North American business. 

Qualifications:  

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience across areas such as employee lifecycle support, HR compliance, employee communications, recruitment, employee relations, HR systems, or other generalist HR activities; 
• Experience working with HR systems, employee data, reporting, Excel, and administrative processes; experience with LMS administration or Workday is an asset; 
• Experience with SharePoint and/or employee communications, including LinkedIn, is considered an asset; 
• University degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple locations; 
• A flexible, team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute across a broad HR function.
