Heavy Equipment Operator Fossil Solutions Ltd Location County of Barrhead Salary 36.00 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week Full time Overtime required, early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Other benefits Languages English Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience Experience: Experience an asset Work Location s may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Work site environment Outdoors Hot Cold/refrigerated Dusty Extremely cold Work setting Various Locations Willing to relocate Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks Complete onboard and other logs Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment Prepare accident reports Secure special attachments to equipment Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment Perform minor repairs to equipment Set up and operate air/water snow gun Perform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate First Aid Certificate Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate Experience and specialization Type of heavy equipment operated Backhoe excavator, loader Grader Loader Roller Bobcats Truck or equipment experience Road spraying truck Equipment and machinery experience Skidsteer Type of industry experience Road construction Additional information Transportation/travel information Willing to travel Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Attention to detail Fast-paced environment Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Benefits Other benefits Until: 2026-06-25
