Lead Network Security Architect Ontario

Drive network security excellence as a Senior Technology Architect for a large public sector project in Ontario. Oversee enterprise architecture focusing on SDN, SASE, and Zero Trust. This role, contracted for 12 months with potential extensions, requires extensive expertise in network and cybersecurity architecture. You will provide leadership on LAN/WAN infrastructure, cloud security, and endpoint protection while collaborating with government stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust security solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design enterprise network and security architectures
- Lead SDN, SASE/SSE, and Zero Trust implementations
- Provide technical leadership on VPN, firewall, and routing
- Analyze network performance with monitoring tools
- Prepare architecture documentation and executive presentations
- 5+ years in enterprise network security design
- 5+ years with SDN/SD-WAN technologies
- Strong knowledge of Fortinet and next-gen firewalls
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR and endpoint security
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
