Our client is a fully integrated real estate organization with an in-house property management platform overseeing a diverse portfolio of residential, mixed-use, and income producing assets. With a strong geographical presence across Western Canada, they manage a varied portfolio of residential, mixed-use, and income producing assets. The in-house property management team actively oversees assets to enhance performance, tenant experience, and community impact. With a growing portfolio and new projects underway, the company offers a stable environment and is well positioned for continued expansion and growth within the market.
Your New Role
As the Director of Property Management, you will provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the property management division while driving strategic initiatives to support portfolio performance and business growth. You will oversee a mixed-use portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial discipline, and exceptional service delivery. You will bring your Managing Broker’s and Rental Management licenses and be responsible for budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and in-depth analysis of operational and financial performance. You will play a key role in aligning property management operations with broader organizational objectives.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of property management, the overall market, and brokerage compliance.
The ideal candidate has:
7+ years experience in property management for mixed-use portfolios.
Active Real Estate Managing Brokers License
Active BCFSA Rental license .
Excellent knowledge of BCFSA (BC Financial Services Authority) and RESA (Real Estate Services Act) requirements.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
Proven leadership capability and experience building or scaling property management operations
3rd party property management experience is an asset.
Valid BCDL & vehicle.
