Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. This role is crucial in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests while managing the front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in the food service industry, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees to maintain a high standard of service.
- Monitor food handling and preparation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists effectively during peak hours.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and food preparation techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests alike.
- Experience in supervising staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
