Home Care Worker/Caregiver
Full-time
We are looking for a patient, calm, and dependable caregiver to provide in-home support for an older adult who requires regular assistance throughout the day. The ideal person will be respectful, compassionate, and comfortable supporting someone with mobility challenges, communication difficulties, and cognitive impairment. A gentle approach and the ability to maintain dignity while providing hands-on support are very important. Responsibilities may include:
- Toileting and personal care
- Mobility and fall-prevention support
- Assistance with daily routines
- Supervision and companionship
- Providing reassurance and a calm presence
- Supporting the family by allowing the primary caregiver time to rest, work, or complete errands
