Summary of the Role:

The Studio Assistant provides essential support to our growing Architectural and Interior Design team, contributing to the day-to-day operations and overall upkeep of the studio. This part-time, in-office role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. Reporting to the Studio Manager and the Partners, the Studio Assistant plays a key role in supporting the smooth functioning of the studio through facilities upkeep, supply management, and general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Premises:

• Maintain clean and organized shared spaces, including meeting rooms and kitchens
• Monitor and replenish office supplies, ensuring the studio is fully stocked and operational
• Monitor and replenish kitchen supplies, ensuring weekly orders are processed
• Complete set-up and clean-up for client meetings, product updates, Lunch & Learns
• Responsible for Design Library maintenance and coordination of sample returns
• Assist with staff desk moves, as needed
• Assist in organizing company events, as needed

General Admin:

• Arrange couriers and manage mail pickups

• Ability to gracefully engage in multiple tasks while maintaining a strong eye for detail
• Confident and responsive to business needs
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities
• Able to manage conflicting demands, expert in prioritizing tasks
• Manages workload autonomously and with little supervision
• Demonstrate a high regard for confidentiality
• Handles sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

The hours for this position are 8:30am to 1:30pm, in-office, from our Roncesvalles/Dundas Street West studio.

Pay: $17.20-$26.86 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
