Lead global threat and vulnerability management at Sun Life, combining cyber resilience expertise with a flexible hybrid work model. Drive enterprise security improvements across complex environments.As Assistant Vice President, Threat and Vulnerability Management, you will lead Sun Life’s global capability across vulnerability management, threat intelligence, application security, and offensive and defensive security. You will oversee technical teams and enterprise-scale programs spanning red teaming, blue team operations, incident management, and application security testing. The role partners across Security Engineering and Advisory, Technology Risk and Compliance, Security Operations, and governance functions. Your work will reduce enterprise attack surface, strengthen compliance, and improve measurable cyber resilience.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the enterprise vulnerability lifecycle and remediation governanceLead threat intelligence collection, analysis, hunting, and operationalizationDirect red team and defensive security capabilitiesGovern incident response processes, playbooks, and readiness exercisesDeliver security metrics, briefings, and regulatory reportingRequirements:
15+ years of cybersecurity experienceEnterprise security program and technical team leadership experienceExpertise in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or application securityExperience with regulated industries, audits, regulators, and client assuranceReliability Status Clearance required before employment beginsBring executive leadership, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and cyber resilience expertise to Sun Life’s global security organization.
