Position: Procurement and Logistics Assistant
Location: Ajax, Ontario
Role / Responsibilities:
· Assist in procurement activities including obtaining quotes, completing and maintaining purchase orders, and all relevant documentation.
· Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
· Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, inventory levels, and supplier information.
· Collaborate with internal departments to maintain adequate stock levels.
· Assist in logistics coordination, including consolidating customer orders, shipment booking and tracking.
· Update orders in Smartsheets
· Support senior procurement and logistics staff in daily administrative tasks and projects.
Knowledge and Requirement:
· Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
· Proven experience as a Procurement Assistant, Logistics Assistant, or similar role.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Attention to detail
· Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Quickbooks.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
