WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR

At Drive Autogroup you will experience the innovative, creative, and collaborative approach behind all our brands.Career Opportunity Responsibilities Genesis Ajax is currently seeking a Full-Time Warranty Administrator to join our growing team. Under the supervision of the Fixed Operations Manager, the Warranty Administrator's duties include but are not limited to the following :
  • Prepares, records and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.
  • Processes warranty claims on a timely basis and all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
  • Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
  • Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
  • Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
  • Tracks warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed of.
  • Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor or to be scrapped.
  • Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.
  • Stays up to date with all factory recalls and bulletins.
  • Assists with body shop warranty claims as needed.
  • Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the controller.
  • Work closely with Service Advisor / technician for any missing documents before posting claims.
  • Ensure that proper information such as technician time, proper cause, condition, remedy, and proper parts are booked on Work order before posting claims.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • OSSD
  • Dealership experience an asset, but not necessary
  • Minimum of 1 years related work experience (e.g. Customer Service, etc.…)
  • Highly organized & efficient time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
