Host and Food Runner

Job Responsibility:

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, while also maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. This position requires a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills to enhance the dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Assist servers in ensuring that all guest orders are accurate and complete before delivery.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth service operations.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling practices at all times.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Assist with restocking supplies as needed to ensure efficient service flow.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of guest services and hospitality principles.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, as it may be required for order management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is highly valued.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
