Technical Team Lead – Claims (Adjuster)
We have an existing opportunity to add a Technical Team Lead/Claims Adjuster to our team in Laval, QC! This position will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the province of Quebec.
Summary
The Technical Team Lead serves as a senior technical reference and plays a key role in improving file quality and supporting the development of adjusters.
This position is intended for an adjuster looking to move into a technical leadership role, without necessarily taking on traditional management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical reference for the team (complex files, settlement strategies)
- Support adjusters with their files (analysis, coverage, direction)
- Conduct targeted quality reviews (reports, reserves, client compliance)
- Provide coaching and support the development of adjusters
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and standards
- Collaborate with Directors to support overall performance
Profile Sought
- 8 to 10 years of experience in claims adjusting
- Strong technical expertise (experience with complex files /specialty risk is an asset)
- Influential leadership and coaching ability
- Strong rigor, judgment, and quality orientation
- Good understanding of insurer and client expectations
- Bilingualism in French and English is a must (oral and written)

Nous avons actuellement une opportunité d’ajouter un(e) Chef(fe) d’équipe technique / Expert(e) en sinistres à notre équipe à Laval (QC). Ce poste est offert en mode télétravail et peut être basé partout dans la province de Québec.
Sommaire
Le ou la Chef(fe) d’équipe technique agit comme référence technique senior et joue un rôle clé dans l’amélioration de la qualité des dossiers ainsi que dans le développement des expert(e)s en sinistres.
Ce poste s’adresse à un(e) expert(e) en sinistres souhaitant évoluer vers un rôle de leadership technique, sans nécessairement assumer des responsabilités de gestion traditionnelle.
Responsabilités
- Agir à titre de référence technique pour l’équipe (dossiers complexes, stratégies de règlement)
- Soutenir les expert(e)s en sinistres dans la gestion de leurs dossiers (analyse, couverture, orientation)
- Effectuer des revues de qualité ciblées (rapports, provisions, conformité aux exigences des clients)
- Offrir du coaching et soutenir le développement des expert(e)s en sinistres
- Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des pratiques et des normes
- Collaborer avec les directeurs afin de soutenir la performance globale
Profil recherché
- 8 à 10 ans d’expérience en expertise de réclamations
- Solide expertise technique (expérience en dossiers complexes / risques spécialisés constitue un atout)
- Capacité de leadership d’influence et aptitudes en coaching
- Grande rigueur, bon jugement et forte orientation vers la qualité
- Bonne compréhension des attentes des assureurs et des clients
- Bilinguisme français et anglais requis (à l’oral et à l’écrit)
