Were looking for a Manager, Vehicle Standards & Inspections who is responsible for supervising the development, delivery and evaluation of Saskatchewans vehicle equipment and safety standards and vehicle inspection programs, policies and procedures for the Auto Fund (AF).
We hope you consider applying if you:Apply advanced technical expertise and regulatory knowledge to oversee certification and auditing of inspection stations, and to investigate and resolve technical complaints.
Lead and develop a high-performing technical team by fostering accountability, advancing specialized expertise and driving results through strong leadership and coaching.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, inspection stations, law enforcement, inter-provincial partners, and government departments.
Lead program oversight and accountability by ensuring compliance, consistency, and effectiveness of provincial inspection programs and participating partners. Typically, these skills are gained through:
A heavy-duty equipment mechanic or truck and transport mechanic journeyperson certificate; or a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as business or automotive mechanical engineering.
Eight years experience comprised of four years of leadership and four years experience in the repair and maintenance of vehicles.
