Operations Risk Control Analyst

Job Responsibility:

Job Summary:

The Operations Risk Control Analyst will support risk management and control processes across Global Banking Operations and Client Engagement & Protection . This role involves deploying control plans, conducting risk assessments, and enhancing operational procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Solid understanding of risk management, audit, and control methodologies .

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee global and local control plans related to Operational Permanent Control (OPC).
• Assist with walkthroughs and data collection exercises within CIB Operations teams.
• Conduct risk self-assessments to analyze processes, identify risks, map controls, and quantify potential incidents.
• Develop and formalize control plans, establish corrective actions, and monitor implementation.
• Perform control reviews and root cause analysis to identify gaps and propose action plans for improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to operational risk and compliance frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a risk and control function role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint .
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Financial Services within Risk, Operations, Audit, or Business Management.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field .
• Solid understanding of risk management, audit, and control methodologies .

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $50.00-$60.28 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
