As a Shipping Forklift Operator in our Shelburne water plant you can expect:

Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to load and unload goods from trucks and within the warehouse.
- Ensure the accuracy of orders by verifying product quantities, descriptions, and shipping details.
- Assist in the organization and management of inventory in the warehouse, including stacking and organizing products.
- Follow shipping procedures to ensure accuracy of product and inventory control.
- Remove all waste to energy and recycling throughout shift.
- Collaborate with the shipping team, warehouse staff, and supervisors to coordinate shipping activities and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Perform routine inspection checks on forklifts and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Education/Skills/Experience Required
- Previous Forklift, shipping/receiving experience an asset.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
- Demonstrate spirit of team work and collaboration with the flexibility to adapt to various tasks
- Complete tasks as assigned.
