Aerospace Tooling Machinist Position
FTAI Aviation Ltd.
FTAI Aviation is seeking an Aerospace Tooling Machinist to drive innovations in CNC machining. Enhance your career in a role focused on precision tooling and aerospace component creation. You will utilize your machining skills to set up and operate CNC machines, modifying and producing specialized tooling and engine components. This role involves CNC programming, collaborating with teams, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will contribute to both internal training and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC and conventional machining equipment
- Perform programming for tooling and fixtures
- Measure and inspect precision components accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized toolroom environment
- Work with engineering teams to optimize tooling solutions
- DEP, DEC, or ASP in Machining or similar
- Experience with CNC machining is essential
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SurfCAM is advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
- Ability to interpret technical drawings easily
