Your new role  

As the Construction / Development Coordinator, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of underground construction and development activities for a major mining project. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate construction and development activities through planning, execution, commissioning, and project handover.
• Support project schedules, budgets, resource planning, and progress reporting to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks or issues, and assist with implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation, technical records, contract information, and change management processes.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and close-out activities to ensure a smooth transition to operations.

What you'll need to succeed  

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience supporting construction, infrastructure, industrial, mining, or capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling, contractor management, and construction processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in a complex industrial or mining environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
