What will your typical day look like?
- Shape Enterprise Fraud Strategy: Collaborate with senior Deloitte and client leadership across different industries (e.g., financial services, retail, etc.) to design and refine fraud risk management strategies
- Fraud Landscape Assessment: Evaluate current fraud threats and controls (e.g., assess technological controls against a defined compliance framework) across channels and products, identify emerging risks, and prioritize remediation gaps to design targeted tactical and strategic solutions
- Client Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to client teams and leaders, providing actionable insights on fraud prevention and detection that balance financial loss prevention, and operational efficiency
- Drive Fraud Management Transformation: Design and deliver end-to-end transformation programs for fraud management, scalability, and resilience, to drive the broader organizational objective
- Contribute Thought Leadership: Develop insights and content that challenges conventional approaches, informs strategic decisions for clients, and advance industry best practices in fraud management

Deloitte helps our clients to protect their brand and reputation by proactively advising on their exposure to fraud and other financial crime issues. Drawing on our global network of seasoned financial crime experts, intelligence analysts, technologists, and advanced analytics, we can quickly and efficiently gain an understanding of our clients’ various fraud risk exposures. We provide expert advice and solutions to address our clients Fraud Risk Management needs across the organization from strategy to implementation.

- Drive Fraud Expertise: Expand on strong understanding of latest fraud trends, fraud risk management strategies (e.g., fraud prevention, detection, and response strategies) and fraud analytics at the strategic and technical level
- Build a Narrative: Leverage PowerPoint, Word, and Excel efficiently to create client deliverables which tell a compelling story with analysis findings
Work experiences that we are looking for include some (or all) of the following:
- Cybersecurity & Fraud Risk Evaluation: Assessing and auditing organizational-level cybersecurity controls, frameworks, and technologies to identify vulnerabilities and align remediation recommendations with broader fraud prevention and detection strategies (e.g., SWIFT CSP)
- Emerging Threat Analysis: Assessing evolving fraud schemes and market trends and translating resulting insights into actionable strategies that strengthen fraud prevention and detection capabilities
- Fraud Risk Management Strategy: Designing and implementing holistic fraud risk frameworks that enable informed executive decisions and drive alignment with organizational priorities
- Governance Framework Design: Designing governance frameworks for fraud programs, ensuring clear accountability and effective oversight at the leadership level
- Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitating cross-functional workshops to align fraud mitigation strategies with business priorities and customer experience goals
- Executive Advisory: Advising executives on fraud prevention and detection initiatives, balancing regulatory compliance with operational efficiency
- Client-Service: Demonstrating 2-5 years of professional client-service experience in consulting, financial services, IT audit / assessments, and/or risk assessments
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or other similar disciplines
- Possessing or working towards a relevant IT cybersecurity / audit designation (e.g., CISA, CISSP, PCI QSA, CCSFP, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant IT frameworks, such as PCI DSS, ISO 27022, NIST SP 800-53, COS-2, or NIST Cybersecurity Framework is an asset
- Canadian travel may be required, with the potential for occasional international travel
- Candidates may be required to apply for Government of Canada reliability status
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 ($83,000 - $125,000 for Senior Consultant), and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
