Seeking Live-Out Nanny - $28/hour 9:30am-4:30pm Mon-Thursday (open to negotiating what the off day is) We are an LGBT family looking for a part-time nanny to care for our daughter, who is 1 year old. One parent works from home, but will make an effort not to disrupt nanny and child activities throughout the day. We are seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced nanny for 4 days per week, 7 hours per day. Ideally we would like someone who enjoys working with infants and is confident engaging in age-appropriate play, reading, outdoor walks, and activities. We can provide guaranteed hours, 4% vacation pay, 2 weeks (8 days) off paid at Christmas. Payroll will meet BC employment standards for EI and CPP. Nanny duties would include:
- Preparing simple meals and snacks.
- Diaper changing.
- 'Leave it as you found it' policy around mess (ie you dont have to clean any family mess aside from what the child makes in a day).
- Planning hands-on learning activities that support early development.
- Police record check
- First aid + CPR training
