Position: IT Intern

Reporting to: IT Manager

Working as part of the IT team, the intern works with the team on various duties to support the IT Operations team. The intern will get hands on experience applying their studies to assigned projects. They will learn diverse skills within the IT department, including IT Operations workstream processes as part of a project or individually, collaborating on documentation/standard operating procedures review & creation.

What you’ll do:

· Participate in reporting & monitoring of IT operations platforms

· Research and provide information to the Operations leads

· Produce documentation of challenges being solved, as well as system and network diagrams

· Support various implementation projects supporting the operations team

Learning Objective:

· IT Operational experience in the Operations team

· Develop good technical documentation skills

· Learn/apply critical thinking for problem solving

· Learn about application/hardware management

Key Competencies:

· Ability to work well on a team

· High level understanding of computer networking, application lifecycle concepts and theories

· Experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You will gain:
