Financial Controller at GS Construction

GS Construction | Underground Infrastructure

Become the financial backbone at GS Construction as the Financial Controller. Oversee clear reporting, strong controls, and lead AI innovations to transform finance practices. As the Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CEO and take the lead in overseeing financial reporting and job costing across essential community projects. Your leadership will empower an accounting team focused on clear, accountable work while enhancing finance with AI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close and financial reporting
Develop and coach the accounting team for consistency
Drive AI adoption in financial processes
Manage job costing and work-in-progress schedules
Ensure accurate cash flow oversight and reporting

Requirements:

8+ years in finance, 3-5 years as a controller
Experience in construction or civil infrastructure
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
Hands-on AI tools experience and sound judgment
Familiarity with Spectrum is an asset
