Senior Payroll Specialist
WORKFORCE Staffing Solutions
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries, with a strong focus on Canada and the US. This role will work closely with Payroll, Finance, and HR teams to ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with payroll legislation and company policies. Key Responsibilities
- Process and review payroll across multiple jurisdictions
- Handle payroll reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities
- Support audits and maintain payroll records and documentation
- Resolve payroll-related questions and issues
- Work with payroll providers and internal stakeholders
- Support payroll process improvements and system updates
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with Canadian and US payroll
- Multi-jurisdiction or global payroll experience preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and reconciliations
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Dayforce, Workday, etc.
- Strong Excel and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
