Hydroelectric Technical Advisor Role

Join as a Technical Field Advisor specializing in hydroelectric projects. Ensure piping installation meets all specifications while maintaining safety standards and project timelines. The Technical Field Advisor for Mechanical Balance of Plant/Piping will play a critical role in overseeing on-site operations. You will manage field activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, quality control, and health regulations. Successful candidates will possess strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and extensive experience in construction site management. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure EHS compliance and safety culture on site
- Lead risk assessments and method statements for high-risk tasks
- Provide technical guidance to on-site construction teams
- Review engineering drawings and verify installation compliance
- Support construction schedules and coordinate with subcontractors
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in hydroelectric projects
- Strong technical knowledge of hydroelectric systems
- Proven piping installation experience in turbines
- Excellent communication and computer skills
