Inventory Management Supervisor

Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, managing stock replenishment, and facilitating efficient order fulfillment. This role requires a strong understanding of materials management, sourcing, and demand planning . The Inventory Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Conduct regular data collection and data mining to analyze inventory trends and forecast demand accurately.
- Oversee the sourcing of materials and products, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize tools for reporting and visualization of inventory metrics to inform decision-making.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly to align with sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align inventory levels with market demand and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
- Generate Sales Orders for each Purchase Order, as required.
Skills
- Knowledge of Glass Hardware.
- Proficiency in data collection and data mining techniques for effective inventory analysis.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and the role of inventory management in driving sales.
- Experience in materials management, including sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and best practices in logistics management.
- Knowledge of demand planning methodologies to anticipate customer needs effectively.
- Proficient in using analytical tools for data visualization and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
